IT'S OVER

The Bedford Barons tied the Valley Wildcats 2-2 Saturday afternoon in the final round robin game of the NSMBHL Provincial Tournament sending Bedford to the final four, ending the Senators season.

The Senators started the season with a pair of loses to the Bay Gulls by a combined score of 20-5. Before the season was 2 months old we had lost to Halifax 7-0, Western 7-0, and were no where near competitive with the better teams in the league.

Fast forward 5 months and we were arguably one of the most feared opponents in the league.  We had beaten Halifax, upset the 5th seeded Barons sweeping them 2 straight  in the playoffs, earned the 7th seed to the Provincial Tournament and ended up with a 5th place finish.

The Senators have, without doubt, the best coaching in the league which means the future is bright for the nine returning Senators.
